Everyone reciving state money -- Welfare and State employees and Reps including the Governor -- take DRUG screening tests to recive state money.
Build the bridge south of Port Huron (I-69) from Texas. Shorter span, less money. Get out of the city of Detroit and Detroit politics. I-69 safer road to Canada!!!!!!

1.RANDOM Drug screening mandatory for welfare recipients. Test positive ONE time NO MORE ASSISTANCE.
2.Vacant schools, hospitals, and nursing homes could be used as affordable government housing.

Personally we need to quit giving welfare unconditionally. There are roadways, parks, etc that need cleaning and pickedup instead of paying state employees to do it and they should be drug tested before they get their money each month. Increase sales tax and everyone helps pay not just the businesses or the people who have worked hard their whole lives and have wealth. Look at the prison system, ... |

"Michigan Lookout Towers" many people have memories of climbing the old fire lookout towers which were scattered throughout the northern woods...these people would not only pay $money$ to visit and climb such a tower.....but would FLOCK there with their children and grandchildren.... |

If our governing body would really like to balance the budget...A ten percent tax on all golf packages and golf related purchases here in the Great State of Michigan, and In all the states we could balance the budget in every state and the Federal Gov't...Just think about it...after reading about the tax on tanning..there is alot more money spent of golf and in the sun and lots of alcholics are on ... |

Marine City, MI, has a lot to offer. There isn't much here but there is lots of room to grow. Marine City is a port of entry. Many people drive through Marine City. There isn't much in downtown Marine City to make people want to stop. Many properties for sale & lots of opportunity.
