Kevin VanAmburg August 12, 2011 Have we looked into allowing city's with high crime rates to start funds to pay salaries of local police officers. Almost like an association fee and we would be able to have a officer in a local neighborhood. In Houston, Texas they have assigned officers with in a neighborhood and even post the officers name that is over that area. That officer has a local office right in the neighborhood. This would protect specific high crime neighborhoods and allow more hiring. I know many people that would pay extra a month as a association to have a police officer cover there area including business.
